Among the daisies.
What does it mean to raise boys as a feminist? How can I let go of some of the gendered stereotypes I grew up with and fully embrace my children as individuals? This photo essay is a contemplation of nurturing reverence, honoring courage, witnessing independence, adoring the wild abandon in their spirits, encouraging camaraderie, and opening our minds to all experiences that may come across our paths. I want my children to be settled in who they are in the world; to treat the whole world as a daisy both delicate and beautiful, an experience to be honored and treasured through hardships and success.
How can I teach my boys to be among the daisies?
